Camden Community and Police Consultative Group, a registered charity, has been at the forefront of police and community engagement for the past 20 years. We are involved in everything from supporting ward-based Safer Neighbourhoods Panels to challenging the police and local authority at a borough level.

The purpose of the website is to provide information about the work of the Group and access to the documents we, and others, have published. We also hope it can be used as a resource to provide useful information to both our members and the wider community.

Our work can be broadly divided into 5 areas of work: partnership, consultation/engagement, Stop & Search (and diversity issues), Safer Neighbourhoods and communications.

The CCPCG is currently looking for volunteers to act as 'Independent Stop and Search Observers'. The observers accompany police officers during operations and record and report on what they see. An application form can be download by clicking the hyperlink in the next column.

The CCPCG AGM will be taking place on Tuesday 20 July, 7.00 pm, in the Council Chamber, Camden Town Hall, Judd Street, WC1H 9JE. This will be the last public meeting that Dominic Clout, the Borough Commander, will attend before he retires. EVERYONE IS WELCOME!

If you would like to get involved in the Group or be added to our mailing list, please email admin@camdencpcg.org.uk.
